Digital Marketing Assistant

We are currently looking to recruit a digital marketing assistant to support our award winning and rapidly growing on-line channel

The role will be based at our offices in Marlborough and will involve the following:

  • manage content to optimise for natural search
  • assist with management of pay per click campaigns 
  • manage google shopping data feeds
  • administration of our affiliate network
  • oversee third party recommendations engine
  • assist with maintenance of web content
  • provide accurate and timely reports

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for e-commerce, good numeracy and analytical skills, and a good understanding of brand and customer. They are likely to be a graduate with an e-commerce related degree, or be working in an e-commerce environment.

Campaign Manager

We are currently looking to recruit a campaign manager to work in our busy marketing dept, managing all of our catalogue campaigns.

The role will be based at our offices in Marlborough and will involve the following:

  • catalogue circulation planning
  • development of CRM strategy
  • database segmentation and targeting
  • briefing database bureau, printers and mailing house
  • campaign management, ensuring catalogues are mailed to schedule
  • offers planning and testing
  • results analysis
  • liaising with third party data providers

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years direct marketing experience, including the management of direct mail campaigns and database management. They will be highly numerate and analytical, with good attention to detail and an ability to work to tight deadlines.

Merchandising Administrator

We are looking for a full time administrator in our busy Merchandising team based at our offices in Marlborough. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, numerate, and have good communication skills. Excellent attention to detail is essential and proficient in Excel. You will need to have good organisational skills and be able to follow processes and learn our fulfilment system Elucid. 

The job will entail:

  • Order entry and maintenance
  • Confirming and expediting orders
  • Assist on daily and weekly sales reporting
  • Assist in all aspects of retail merchandise systems maintenance including vendor set up, purchase order management and purchase order placement
  • Collating and checking invoices related to delivery of stock
  • Liaising with internal departments, including marketing, customer service and third party distribution centre   
  • Product maintenance on Elucid

Salary dependent on experience.

Roles at Perch Hill

Executive Assistant- Perch Hill 

Based at Perch Hill Farm, near Brightling in East Sussex, this is a key role in the management of Sarah’s house, farm, school and garden.

As well as supporting Sarah in her many different activities, the Executive Assistant is also a key member of the small Perch Hill management team, and involved in all aspects of Perch Hill activities from the creative to the commercial. A focus on excellent service to our many visitors and customers is paramount, as well as building a collaborative culture within our small team of dedicated staff.

Key duties will include

  • Support Sarah in all aspects of her work- including diary management 
  • Manage all aspects of Sarah’s external teaching and speaking engagements — from T&Cs to logistics for travel, staffing support, ordering of resources etc
  • Provide administrative support to Sarah and Adam across the range of their activities
  • Arrange and maintain insurance cover and ensure heath and safety compliance
  • Oversee the provision of functional and cost effective IT 
  • Manage administrative aspects of the farm, 
  • Lead and manage the team in the School and Shop
  • Work closely with Commercial Manager on the production of course brochures
  • report on the success of events, courses and open days, and make recommendations for future activity

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Ability to use a variety of IT packages (e.g Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and have the ability to pick up new systems easily. 
  • Experience of supervising others
  • Organised and systematic with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a small team in a creative, commercial environment
  • Experience of working in an administrative role within a small team
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good written skills 
  • Ability to multi–task and manage conflicting priorities
  • Proactive, works on own initiative with a ‘can do’ approach
  • A people person — warm and open
