Large, open buttercup-like flowers of carmine pink with delicate, feathery foliage. Beautiful, tall and airy.
Cosmos last 10 days in the vase, produce at least two buckets of cut flowers a week from a 1 x 1m patch, and do so from late June until November. So that's nearly 50 buckets of flowers in one season from a small patch. They are impossible to beat.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting | Sow under cover in mid spring and plant out after last frosts, or direct sow early May. Grow seedlings on in individual pots or modules until large enough to plant out. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 7-10 days before transplanting into the garden after all risk of frost has passed. |
Care Tips | Pinch out tips at 15-20cm to encourage bushier plants. Stake and tie Cosmos plants if necessary during the growing season, water regularly and dead-head to prolong the flowering season. |
Flowering | July - October |
Vase Life | 7-10 days, no conditioning needed. Pick fresh straight into water, just as the buds are about to bloom, and do not pick in the heat of the day. Deadhead the main blooms that are drooping and going over after about a week. Place out of direct sunlight. |
Harvesting | Flower production: 4-5 months. |

Cosmos bipinnatus 'Dazzler' reviews
Reviewed 6th January 2021 by Valerie I have received plants and garden accessories from Sarah Raven for several years. Everything has been delivered on time, well packed and in good condition. |
Reviewed 7th August 2019 by Mrs Longman Plants look very healthy and are very tall and bushy. Some of the plants have no flowers at all, the others just one or two. I bought these hoping to have colour in my border all summer long ( I've purchased Cosmos many times from local nurseries with great results). Very disappointed |
Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Miss Wilson Stunning colour and very floriferous. Bees especially love them. They also make a very nice arrangement in a vase but I don’t like to pick too many as saving the blooms for the insects. |

Reviewed 12th September 2018 by Rebecca Great seedlings. Have grown into lovely healthy plants. Lots of flowers. |
Reviewed 12th September 2018 by Claire Unfortunately, I received my cosmos late. I had not received them by the date promised and after getting in touch was informed that the delivery had gone astray. So I was sent a new delivery. Consequently, I planted them in my south-facing garden later than I would have liked. I have had healthy foliage but still no flowers. I’m wondering whether they will flower before the frosts ! Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:"Thank you for your feedback. we are sorry to hear that your replacement seedlings have failed to flower and can only presume that the hot weather we experience has delayed them. We have made a note on your account, please contact our Customer Services team in the spring if you wish to try another set." Posted 7th November 2018 |

True Dazzlers
Reviewed 7th July 2017 by Kaz Forecast This is the first time I have grown Cosmos from seed - these are so easy to grow and stunning to look at. They will not go unnoticed by anyone and of course the beautiful feathery foliage is an added bonus. I am absolutely delighted with them. As I only have heavy clay meadow grass - all of my seeds and plants are grown in pots and they look amazing plus being able to move them around adds to the changing structure. |
