Asparagus Collection reviews
Reviewed 1st August 2019 by Karen If I could give this 0 stars I would. I ordered these in early January expecting delivery in the spring. Instead they turned up at the end of Jan looking extremely sad; floppy, dry and more like noodles than roots.I should have complained and rejected them straight away and it was my fault that I didnt. I potted them in the green house, kept them cool and frost free but there was no sign of life. In June i dug them back up and checked. Not one of the 10 had sprouted. |
Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Mrs Meryon None of the crowns has flourished. I was very disappointed. |
Reviewed 26th June 2019 by Susan My asparagus crowns have not grown this time at all, I had some three years ago all were fine. I have given 5 stars because I have informed Sarah Raven's company and they are happy to refund or replace if there is no sign of life within 4 weeks. Also I have had many bulbs, seeds and tubers all of which have been excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this company. |
Reviewed 26th June 2019 by Dr Earl Only 4 crowns have emerged. |

I ordered these crowns and they were all one variety (instead of 2) that arrived. |

Reviewed 19th September 2018 by Ally I know this takes a long time (3 years) to grow but there has been no sign of life whatsoever. If there’s no greenery again next year I have to assume their dead.... Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:"Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your asparagus has failed to shoot. if you would care to check the plants and if there is no sign of life please contact our Customer Services Team who will be happy to arrange for a replacement set to be sent when available in the New Year." Sadly not one of the ten crowns grew. I followed your instructions but I think I had to wait too long before I was able to plant them because of this year's very strange weather conditions. I recently dug one up very carefully and discovered it was totally rotten. I have been growing asparagus successfully for thirty years and ordered yours as replacements for my very old crowns, which, by the way have produced copiously this year.
