Camassia | why Sarah loves them
In this video Sarah shares why she loves camassia for beautiful drifts of colour from May into June
For May into June, the camassia family take over from narcissus as being the prime candidates for naturalising and particularly if you have difficult soil as we do here at perch hill where it’s a very heavy clay, they thrive and where you put in five bulbs, really quite soon you’ll have 50 and they can form these really wonderful drifts right the way through grass as we have in the orchard here.
