- Sow indoors late winter at 13°C (55°F) in a moist seed compost, covering with a thin layer too. Keep in the dark. Germination can take up to a month but check regularly. Transfer resulting seedlings into 9cm pots and harden off before planting out.
Care Tips
Delphiniums love well-drained soil - if they sit wet in their dormant winter season, they can die. They are also hungry and require regular feeding. Protect from slugs!!!
