Description
August and September is the best time to sow this hardy annual with delicate leaves that taste hazelnutty. It is great topped with crushed hard-boiled egg, toasted hazelnuts and a mustard dressing.
Care Tips
Start harvesting 3-4 weeks from planting. Pick whole rosettes, slicing them off with a sharp knife and they will keep producing until it gets properly hot and dry. Harvest is prolonged by growing in dappled shade and regular watering.
