Description

I’ll never forget seeing a whole glade full of this in a wood in Kent when Jonathan Buckley and I were travelling round the UK to photograph for our wild flower book. With perfect mini green bells, just edged with a line of crimson, this has to be one of our best-ever spring flowering natives, utterly worthy of space in a shady patch in every garden.

Care Tips

Apply a generous mulch of well-rotted organic matter around the base of the plant in autumn and remove any damaged foliage over winter.
