The most incrediblly huge and spectacular zinnia in a bright pink-purple. A few years ago we had it inter-planted with Cosmos 'Dazzler' and purple and pink cleomes in one place and with artichokes in another and both looked marvellous.

Spacing Plant 30cm (12in) apart.
Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow under cover in individual cells in mid spring (zinnias dislike root disturbance). Pinch out tips as you plant out after last frosts, or direct sow in May-June. Do not overwater.
Care Tips It has a tendency to botrytis (a reason to think of using Copper Mixture or Sulphur). This can be grown in a container pot.
Flowering July - first frosts, 12-14 weeks from sowing.
Vase Life 7 days. Strip bottom leaves.
Harvesting Flower production: 3 months.

Last year, 2017, was the first time I had grown Zinnias from seed and I really loved the mix of bright colours. Very pleased with them and I plan to grow more this year.

Mine all opened bright red, the one colour I don't want in the garden, so disappointing and a waste of all the jiffy grow blocks I bought to grow them in.
