Description

There is no other plant with flowers this colour – true Verdigris; when copper oxidises to give this incredible, vibrant Aegean sea blue.

Tweedia coerulea is an excellent small container plant, and cuts well (although not prolific), but most of all it’s an exceptional and unique border plant for a sheltered, sunny corner. If you over-winter, out of the frost, it flowers bigger and better from one year to the next. You have to grow it!

Care Tips

Only reliably hardy in the mildest of gardens, so grow as an annual or a conservatory perennial. Evergreen when kept above 5°C.
