Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow indoors March-April and plant out after last frosts, or direct sow May-July about 2cm (1in) deep in lines or blocks 20cm (8in) apart. They thrive in poor soil.
Care Tips Feed and deadhead to prolong the flowering period. This can be grown in a container pot, and will need a supporting frame.
Flowering June - October, 10-12 weeks from sowing
Vase Life 3-4 days.
Harvesting Flower production: 4-5 months.
Cooking Notes The leaves and flowers are edible, with a peppery flavour.
