More Details

Flowers in deep pink, purple, white and a pretty pale pink. Cleomes are an elegant and ethereal, very long-lasting and statuesque annual. This is a must for the summer and autumn garden, going on flowering longer than all the other half-hardies and totally invaluable for that.

This germinates best with lots of temperature fluctuations from hot to cold, so sow early. The only downside to cleomes is their thorns, but they're easy to remove if using as a cut flower.

for the extremely prompt delivery, very fair price considering there are 250 seeds. I hadn't had cleomes in my garden ever until recently introduced to them by my cousin - she grows them from seed & gave me a few plants - they make such a statement going to put them in a raised bed with my salvias. Thank you.

Erratic germination, has now produced about a dozen sting plants just coming into flower. First time I have attempted to grow them

Beautiful and fragrant plants

I purchased these as plants last season. They were very sturdy and lasted until the frosts - so a long flowering season. A definite must again for this year.
