Description

In a fashionable muted blue-grey, the felted stem and calyx of this salvia is very Farrow & Ball, in contrast to its slightly paler flowers. This one is the perfect scale for summer containers, on its own or mixed with the slightly richer coloured, African blue basil. They look good together remarkably late in the season.

Care Tips

Protect young plants from frost and plant in a sunny, free-draining spot. Do not prune back in winter, keep current years growth and remove when new shoots appear. Mulch annually.
