The whole agastache, or hyssop family are massively on the up in garden fashion and rightly so. They flower for months, are highly aromatic, have delicious edible flowers and with this variety, as it goes over, cut it right back for beautiful fresh domes of foliage into winter.

These have performed very well and have been covered in bees and butterflies. They have made a lovely colourful splash in the flower bed.

Not looking very happy (looking as if too dry, but have watered it). Some of the newer stems are starting to look as if they will redover. Otherwise, I was about to dig it up to see if there were grubs in the compost.

Average plants which have not enjoyed this summer. My soil is thin chalk and the plants are struggling but I doubt they will survive the wintrr
