When planting, make sure that the roots are spread out and only the bottom half of the bulb is below the compost level – the top half of the bulb must remain above it. Wait until the roots fill the pot before planting out into the garden, at the same level. |

Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Patricia I initially received Nerine bowdenii but had ordered N. B. ‘Zeal Giant’. You replaced them quickly and they are all growing well. Excellent service and excellent bulbs. |
Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Sheila The bulbs are doing very well and I look forward to the flowers. The 3 Erigeron plants sadly have not done so well and are looking quite sad |
Reviewed 31st July 2019 by Jacqueline I ordered the larger variety Zeal but received a letter saying that due to crop failure these were not available and I would receive 10 bowdenii as a replacement, but only 5 arrived. I have planted these and they seem healthy but will not flower for some weeks. I hope they will flower! |

Reviewed 21st November 2018 by Jane Very good quality, although didn't flower this year. |
Reviewed 19th November 2018 by Susie Purchased these bulbs in ......and planted in very sheltered well drained beds on the south side of house. Disappointingly haven't flowered yet or produced much foliage so have moved them, with fingers crossed, to very sunny part of the back garden in the hope they will respond next autumn. |
Reviewed 14th November 2018 by Celia Not in flower this season but willing to wait to see what happens next year. |
Reviewed 14th November 2018 by Katharine Only 2 of the 5 bulbs survived to flowering, one never put up green growth and two died back before flowering. The two that flowered were beautiful though and I'll try again with more in the future! |
Reviewed 31st October 2018 by Ken Not all bulbs flowered. As it was my first time of growing them I did not give them the care they should have had. Those that did flower were very lovely. Very keen to try again next year. |
Reviewed 4th October 2018 by Judy I am awaiting their presences as my garden needs that extra colour not signs of anything yet. Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:"Thank you for leaving your review. We are very sorry to hear of your disappointment with your Nerines and have refunded you for them." Posted 7th November 2018 |
Reviewed 21st September 2018 by Olive No problem with the service, plants are always well packed. Only one of the five bulbs has produced any leaves, the others are stunted. There is no sign of a flower. Directions for planting were followed and all were doing well in pots before planting out. Have blamed the hot summer, but other plants have surged back once the rain started. Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:"Nerine Bowdenii can take a long time to establish in the garden, they often put their energy into growing in the first year for flower in following years." Posted 7th November 2018 |
Reviewed 19th September 2018 by Karen 2 of the 5 bulbs didn’t produce leaves. Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:"Thank you for leaving your review. We are very sorry to hear of your disappointment with your Nerines, and have refunded you for them." Posted 7th November 2018 |

All the lilies I ordered were absolutely fabulous - oh what a show they gave & the perfume in my little garden was wonderful. The Nerines are doing well but have yet to come into flower so I'm looking forward to that. |

Reviewed 17th February 2015 by JACQUELINE Wark Bought a collection of three types of nerines last spring. Planted them in a very sunny spot in the flower bed to the front of our cottage was rewarded with weeks of lovely flowers before and up to Christmas. The darker pink were most successful. Haven't had any success with these before. |

Reviewed 18th November 2014 by Barbara Jones Planted these in a large pot initially as I needed to clear the area I had in mind for them. Four of them failed to show any growth and I eventually transplanted the remaining six into a newly prepared sunny spot. I did see that they may not flower well in their first year and, indeed, I was treated to just one beautiful flower which lasted well. I will have to give them a 'pep-talk' in the Spring and hope for better things come next Autumn. Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:"Thank you for your comments. We're so sorry to hear of your disappointment with the bulbs. Please get in contact with our Customer Service team who will more than happily arrange a replacement for you in the next season."
