The best of the violet-blue perennial geraniums for a pot or in the border. This flowers for months at a stretch.
Genus | Geranium |
Variety | Rozanne |
Type | Hardy Perennial |
Common Name | Cranesbill |
Border Position | Front, Middle |
Soil Type | Neutral |
Scent | Unscented |
Site | Full Sun, Part Shade |
Moisture | Moist but Well-drained, Well-drained |
Height | 60cm (24in) |

Sowing, Seeds, Planting | Plant out in spring or autumn. These make an ideal ground cover for planting around the bottom of roses and will grow in any, moderately fertile soil apart from waterlogged soils. Full sun or partial shade is best but will cope with shade. Sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base of the planting hole and water in well. |
Care Tips | Cut back hard after flowering and you may get a second flush of flowers. Divide large clumps in spring. |
Flowering | May - October |

Reviewed 19th September 2018 by Susan It's so long ago that I ordered them, I can't quite remember when. I do remember them being very small to start with and I had to grow them on in my greenhouse. I'm not sure all survived but those that did now look wonderful. |
Super little geranium

I absurdly planted this pretty perennial geranium in a bare patch of the most horrible soil and in a position where the elements would most likely punish the poor thing. |
Now I see why it's such a favourite
Reviewed 23rd September 2017 by J Orchard This has flowered non-stop through the summer and is still going strong. Now I see why everyone raves about it. |
