Sowing, Seeds, Planting Plant in a cool, semi-shady part of the garden. Avoid exposed east-facing sites, where cold winds may damage young spring growth. Dry sunny spots are also best avoided. Work plenty of organic matter into the soil prior to planting and sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi into the base of the planting hole, firm in and water well until established.
Care Tips Remove faded flowerheads in spring after the danger of frosts, cutting back the flowered stems to a strong pair of buds and take out misplaced or diseased shoots. Prune to the ground for a shorter, sturdier plant or less harshly for a taller plant.

I am delighted with the delivery of my plant and it was in very good condition but I was disappointed with the instructions on how to plant Hydrangea arborescens “Incrediball” on arrival. It’s confusing when it was stated Spring planted. Does that mean when you planted the plant.

I'm really pleased with the size of the flowers and a fantastic colour which brightened the garden. The delivery service was good and the packaging protected the plant perfectly, thanks.

Large flowers and plentiful.
Have put in large terracotta pot as I knew I was moving. Will plant in new garden in spring.

Rather disappointed - the flower heads soon appeared much to my surprise but in spite of the claim that the thick stems supported the very large blooms well they have rather struggled. I am going to move it shortly to a more sheltered position to see if it helps.

These are doing well in pots and add a lovely splash of colour to the shady garden great quality. I'm now a convert to Hydrangea.
