I love a haze of gauras in a pot or series of pots in a line – light, airy, graceful and super long-flowering on minimal TLC.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Plant in containers or in the border, prefers a sunny position with free draining soil.
Care Tips Gauras are easy as long as you remember that they are prairie plants from a warm place, mulching helps to protect from severe winters. Mature gauras do not move well. The dark spots that appear on their narrow leaves are normal. Large clumps can be divided in spring.

I was disappointed with the pink Gaura. Not nearly as nice as the white.

Two of the plants are looking good the third looks much weaker, this may be because of a spell of torrential rain making the base of the stems rotting and breaking.
