More Details

Tulip 'White Triumphator' is supremely elegant. This pure white lily-flowered tulip looks wonderful in sun or light shade.

Our tulip bulbs are the best and biggest we can find, from tried and trusted growers. Don't forget that tulips like to be planted late in October and November with the colder weather, and need a little watering if planted in pots.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Plant outdoors October - December.
Care Tips Don't plant tulip bulbs until the cold weather has set in – this helps wipe out viral and fungal diseases. Leave the browning foliage on your tulips until every leaf has died right down – this allows the bulb to store more food and increases the chances of good flowering the following year.
Flowering Late April - May
Vase Life Tulips make supreme cut flowers. Strip the bottom leaves, tie the stems in paper to hold the stems ram-rod straight and leave to drink for at least 3 hours – or overnight. This helps keep the stems straight, but tulips do continue to grow after picking so curves may appear.

Very pleased with the tulips. Flowers evolved from looking green through cream until finally white. Quite tall stems which remained upright without support.

Brilliant pure white and statuesque tulips. Hopefully our future purchase of the same tulips will produce the same result in a larger bed. Just a little doubt as to whether the tulips will return next spring with the same vigour.
