Many of the flowers were bright pink, not the expected white, which was a bit disappointing as I was trying to grow white flowers for my wedding day.

The gladioli corms were great quality and size. We had good plants from all of them with lovely blooms.

Big, strappy, greyish green leaves looked great in the border all summer and still look good now in late September. I’ve had very few flowers though - just a handful. The ones I did get were lovely and lasted very well, so I would definitely have another shot at growing them.

Suspect that my soil might have been too dry for them over this long, ho summer. The leaves looked fabulously healthy so I thought they were doing fine, but I’d water them more if growing again and hope for better results.

I’d probably plant them a little deeper next time too, as the ones that flowered did tend to fall over a bit and needed some staking.

I only got one flowering this year...but it was amazing! so many flowers on the spike. But wonder why others did not flower as there were three in the same position as the one that flowered....others in different positions may not have had enough sun.

Reply from the Sarah Raven Team:

"Thank you for leaving your review. We are very sorry to hear of your disappointment with your Gladiolus and have refunded you for them."
