Plant tuberose bulbs outside after all danger of frost has passed. Select a sunny site or container with good drainage protected from wind. Plant 3 inches deep and 6 inches apart with the pointy side up.

Utterly deliciously perfumed, brilliant growing in pots to bring into the house, or for picking stem by stem for the vase. We trialled lots of varieties of tuberose last summer and ‘The Pearl’ excelled.

Care Tips

Can also be grown indoors but they’ll need lots of sunlight, so place your pot close to a south-facing window where it will get sun almost all day long. Water only twice a week until they begin to grow to avoid bulb rot.
