Description

A collection of favourite bulbs to plant in layers for a succession of beautiful flowers.

This collection contains:
  • 20 or 40 bulbs of Iris 'Purple Hill'
  • 5 or 10 bulbs of Narcissus 'Toto'
  • 10 or 15 bulbs of Tulip 'Merlot'

To get dense and flowery potfuls, try planting your bulbs in layers in a bulb lasagne, layering them one on top of another. The largest and latest flowering goes in deepest, moving to the smallest and earliest in the top layer. The emergent shoots of the lower level just bend round anything they hit sitting over their heads and keep on growing.

Our bulb collections will be supplied with each variety bagged individually. To reduce waste, we no longer collate these into a second larger bag. Your delivery paperwork will list details of the collection you have ordered and the varieties included. Our bags can either be recycled or composted (please check bags for details).

This can be gift wrapped in our exclusive hessian sack, with ribbon and a Sarah Raven gift card. You will be able to add this to your basket once you begin the checkout process. To add a gift message to your order, simply fill out the details at the delivery stage of the checkout.

Please note: only items which are showing ‘in stock’ can be gift wrapped.

Care Tips

Keep moist until established and apply a liquid feed fortnightly through the summer. Deadhead flowers regularly to encourage repeat flowering all summer long.
