More Details

I love the elegance of this variety, like Allium sphaerocephalon, but almost double the height. These sort of glorified leeks are super-bold and architectural, particularly good planted with backlighting. Totally perennial.

The Allium Forelock are beautiful and are a great addition to the Allium collection in the garden. Sadly, only two out of the three grew and produced flowers but they look very statuesque where they are situated

One out of three flowered. That one is great – good size and the twisty stem is a definite feature. But would have liked three to flower for that price!
