I particularly love the shape of an iris — a beautiful plumed tricorn hat, good enough for any wedding, in expensive silk-velvet, with the finest dabs and strokes of gold and white on this one’s falls. They’re splendid at any time of year, but particularly precious and wonderful when they flower in winter.
