Description
Oh dear – what an ugly name for such a beautiful and tip-top, newly bred rose. We have it in our new rose trial bed and the scent, colour, and the tidy flower form are all to die for. Cuts well too.
All rose petals are edible. As you might expect, they have a mild, floral taste and can be used to decorate cakes, puddings or baking. They are also a beautiful, scented addition to jugs of iced cordial or summer cocktails.
Care Tips
Before planting bare root roses, soak roots in a bucket of water for at least 2 hours. Dig a hole that will accommodate the root ball comfortably and, to aid establishment, sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base before planting.
