The seedlings were quite small and spindly and despite nurturing and following the instructions they have only had about 2 flowers on and have only reached about 2 feet up a metal frame. It is now late August and I would have expected them to be at their peak.

One of the plants was damaged in transit and did not recover.
2 of the Thunbergia are doing quite well and flowering. Third looks healthy and has grown tall, but no flowers. the fourth hasn't really grown much. Disappointing

They have not really got going properly although the few flowers that have appeared look good. The plants are looking healthy but have not yet scrambled as high as I would have liked.

The three garden ready plugs are still blooming their socks off over an obelisk in a large pot. It’s mid October in Mid Sussex and they look spectacular. I have grown thunbergia before from seed but found they took time to germinate and took a long time to get established in the large display pot, so will definitely buy the plugs again next year.

Bought some last year as we'd had trouble getting them locally. Received very healthy plants that grew and grew. Lots of colour and they lasted into December. Really lovely either side of a front door giving a lot of impact.

Beautiful but sent a plain orange variety too

Reviewed 23rd August 2017 by Kate Halls

I'm giving 5 stars because this is a stunning climber, it flowers forever and everyone comments on it, the only problem is we got another variety in plain orange as well, slight disappointment as they were either side of an archway.
