Quick Overview

Lathyrus odoratus 'Painted Lady'

Lathyrus odoratus 'Painted Lady' is a beautiful bi-colour pale and darker pink sweet pea. A very highly-scented, old-fashioned type. Also the earliest-flowering of the highly scented varieties, so excellent if you need sweet peas for May, 9/10 scent.

No garden is complete without sweet peas. Grow them over arches, tepees and trellis and plant them with your runner beans to draw lots of insect pollinators into your veg patch.

Sweet peas are all easy to grow and will fill your garden and house with the best scent ever. We have some new varieties this year, including several Modern Grandifloras, with wonderful scents and larger flowers and longer stems than the original sweet peas.

We sow our plants in winter and in spring, so that your garden can be filled with strong sweet peas throughout the summer.
