Product Description
Narcissi pseudonarcissus is the wild British native daffodil which will spread by self-sowing in grass and beneath trees and shrubs. It’s the longest lasting, easiest and most
successful daff to grow for naturalising.
| Genus: | Narcissus |
| Variety | pseudonarcissus |
| Group: | Species |
| Type: | Deciduous |
| Soil Type: | Any soil | Site: | Sun or partial shade | Height: | 30cm | Spacing: | Plant pointy end up, four to six inches deep with three to four inches between each bulb. | Hardiness: | Hardy | Care tips: | Plant anytime from August to November. They are very tolerant bulbs | Flowers: | March | For the vase: | Narcissi make great cut flowers lasting up to a week in the vase. I love them jumbled up in large jugs on the table. Be careful mixing with other flower types as their stems give off a compound that is toxic to other flowers and soak their stems in warm water before displaying to stop the 'goo' from running out. |
