We had tons of Cosmos 'Versailles Tetra' at
Perch Hill this year, a new
cosmos variety which I
saw in Christopher Lloyd’s
garden at Great Dixter. It has
lovely bright pink flowers,
deepening to carmine at the
centre – perfect for those
who like slightly softer colour.
Cosmos flower 14 weeks from sowing, last 10 days in the vase,produce at least two bucketsof cut flowers a week from a 1x 1m patch and do so from lateJune until November - so that’snearly fifty buckets of flowersin one season from a smallpatch. They are impossible to beat.
