A very reliable, large-leaved variety of corn salad with rosettes of shiny, deep green leaves with a hazelnut-flavour and soft texture, perfect in a salad with mushrooms and blue cheese. Runs up to flower quickly in the heat, so don't grow it in the summer, but it's a must for autumn sowing for picking in the autumn, winter and early spring.
