Watching the flowers in my garden, it’s these three which get more visits from a huge range of different butterflies and bees than anything else.
They look good together too, the bugloss providing the lower storey, (50cms, 20in) the linaria and verbena the upper (90cms 3ft).

- Flowers 12-14 weeks after sowing
- 550 seeds should cover an area of 2-3 square metres
