I have long loved the white, green-centred dahlia ‘Blanc-y-verde’, so trialled it with ‘Onesta’ planted right next door. ‘White Onesta’ flowered, honestly, twice as much, and won the overall performance prize hands down.
All dahlia flowers are edible, scatter their petals on salads for flavour, texture and colour.
