Description
Good, early variety with tasty fruits. It is tolerant of lower temperatures, so can be grown outside, or indoors.
Plant it with basil as they do in Greece, to increase the plant's pollination and general health. I love these griddled with fennel seeds and olive oil and made into a spicy aubergine salad to eat with pitta bread and tsatsiki, or enjoy grilled on the barbecue with mozzarella in stacks.
Please note, illustrated packets are being introduced gradually over the coming months, availability may vary.
Care Tips
Better suited to greenhouse production but if planting outside, cover with a cloche for 2 weeks to allow plants to settle in. Pinch out tips at 45cm and stake. Water well and mist flowers to help fruit set. Feed with high potash until fruits set.
