- Plant bulbs as soon as they arrive into small pots with compost and grit. Plant so that the top half of the bulb is above the compost surface. Wait until the roots fill the pot before planting out into the garden, at the same level.
Care Tips
Grow in containers or in a sunny, free-draining position outdoors and mulch in winter. Be patient if flowering is poor in the first year. Do not disturb once planted.
