Come summer, it produces erect clusters of bright golden-yellow flowers with a delicious pineapple scent – popular with humans and pollinators alike.
From the heart of winter into early spring, clusters of deep purple buds unfurl into large, fragrant flowers, their petals blushing from pale centres to deep pink edges.
