Description

Rosemary is one of my favourite herbs, not just for its flavour (so good with lemon chicken, potatoes, aubergine and of course lamb), but also as a garden plant. It gives great evergreen shapes to any garden and then lovely flowers in spring, with all-important nectar for early emerging bees. This variety has a rosemary flavour with a ginger overlay, invaluable in making a syrup for cocktails, puddings and cakes.

Care Tips

Plant out in spring in a sheltered, well-drained postion. Best in sandy soil but can tolerate any soil as long as not waterlogged in winter. Prune regularly to keep a fresh looking specimen and prevent the plant from becoming woody
