There is nothing shy about red hot pokers and this is a particularly striking one, with heads of red-orange buds, opening to a cool lemon
Plant on its own in drifts or team up with the hot colours of daylilies, crocosmias and dahlias. Purples also work well if you’re looking for contrasting colours.
It loves the full sun, but will tolerate a little shade, just make sure the soil is well-drained.
