Super productive variety
Easy to grow

I’ve long-loved Briza maxima and have been on the lookout for a similarly beautiful and delicate upper-storey perennial grass

Well, here it is, a widespread garden plant in the USA but not widely grown here. We’re missing out — this is lovely cascading over a path at the front of a border, and in a vase. One of our new-found favourites at Perch Hill.

On occasion we may need to send you an alternative variety to the one shown, which will be selected by our growing team to ensure its suitability. It will be of equal or greater value to the original. Please contact our customer service team if there are any problems.

Care Tips

Germination can be sporadic, overwintering outside or in a cold frame is recommended. The fresh and dried seed stalks are wonderful in flower arrangements. Cut stems back close the ground in spring.
