Description
This variety has now sold out. You may like Sarah Raven Antirrhinum Collection instead. A true Regal purple, rather than crimson, these were originally bred for the cut flower trade, and after trialling, we have become obsessed with them just as much as border and container plants (with support) as for whopper stems for a vase. They just keep flowering!
Antirrhinum flowers are edible and can be used to decorate puddings, cakes or party cocktails. They are not to everyone's taste as they are slightly bitter, but they're completely safe to eat.
Care Tips
They will need staking, or growing up through horizontally stretched jute netting. Keep picking (not to the ground but to above a pair of leaves), and these will keep flowering for months at a time.
