Sowing, Seeds, Planting Seeds can be sown directly into a prepared bed. Try to sow them sparsely so you don't have to thin them later. After sowing, keep well watered. The seed usually germinates rapidly. Sow August-September
Care Tips Prefers cooler temperatures for optimal production, it will grow in most soil types, requiring only consistent moisture. A very hardy plant.
Storing Can be kept with other salad leaves in the fridge for 3-5 days
Harvesting This fantastic salad leaf should give a continuous supply of leaves from October to May. Harvest using scissors being sure not to cut too low.
