In this mix
- Indoor (Frost Free)
- Broad Tolerance
- 30cm (12in)
- Common name
- Plant with the bulb two thirds in, one third out of the soil. Or place in an bulb forcer with the roots in water.
Give our wooden planter with hyacinth bulbs, already planted and shooting. It's lovely on a windowsill to add scent and cheer and the planter can be reused in the spring.
- Although the planter is lined with plastic, we recommend placing a mat underneath the planter to protect surfaces
For further care information, see our instruction sheet here.
Propagate them by dividing clumps in early autumn. Add potash in spring. If soil is poorly drained add at least 4cm grit. Wear gloves when handling hyacinth bulbs as they may irritate the skin.
