- Direct sow outside in early spring or autumn, space rows/seeds 40cm (16in), cover seeds lightly with soil. Thin to 45cm (18in). Sow under cover into trays or modules, pot on and plant out after the frosts.
Care Tips
Keep well waterered. Will self sow and can be invasive. Remove faded flowers to prevent this, let foliage die back naturally to encourage winter bud formation, cutting back dead stems early spring. Watch out for slugs with new plants.
