- Plant in autumn in a loam based potting compost. Fritillaries need to be 15-20cm deep, Narcissus 10-15cm and the Chionodoxa only 5-8cm.
Fritillaria raddeana is my new favourite flower, and the earliest of all the frits, starting in February, with great naturalness and poise. With a ruff of the pink scilla and an ivory centre from narcissi, this pot went on and on looking good, and reappeared brilliantly again this year too. This collection contains:
- 1 or 3 bulbs of Fritillaria raddeana
- 10 or 20 bulbs of Narcissus 'Sailboat'
- 10 or 20 bulbs of Chionodoxa forbesii 'Pink Giant'
Our bulb collections will be supplied with each variety bagged individually. To reduce waste, we no longer collate these into a second larger bag. Your delivery paperwork will list details of the collection you have ordered and the varieties included. Our bags can either be recycled or composted (please check bags for details).
This can be gift wrapped in our exclusive hessian sack, with ribbon and a Sarah Raven gift card. You will be able to add this to your basket once you begin the checkout process. To add a gift message to your order, simply fill out the details at the delivery stage of the checkout.
Please note: only items which are showing ‘in stock’ can be gift wrapped.
Feed during flowering and then allow to dry out and go dormant over summer for a display the following year.
