Steely blue drumstick pom poms, covered with butterflies and bees as soon as the sun comes out. This flowers much of the summer and autumn and the flowers are followed by long-lasting architectural seedpods which, as a perennial, come back year after year.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Sow 2mm deep into moist well-drained compost. Choose a seed tray or root trainer which is quite deep. Sow seed 3cm apart as they require plenty of space.
Care Tips Deadhead to prevent self-seeding. Cut down to the ground after flowering to encourage a second flush of flowers. Prefers well drained poor soils.
