I love this hydrangea with soft purple flowers washed with green when they first open.

It's hugely long-flowering and magnificent for months. It's marvellous for picking for a huge autumn vase.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Plant in an area that does not dry out in the summer.
Care Tips This shrub does best in partial shade. It requires an evenly moist soil for optimal growth. Acidic soil will ensure lavender / mauve blooms. Apply a thick mulch around the base in both summer and winter to conserve soil moisture and protect it in colder climates. It is also well-suited for use in outdoor containers.
Flowering June - November
Vase Life Float the flowers on the water in a bath overnight to maximise vase life. To dry, hang them upside down for a couple of weeks.
Harvesting Flower production: 6 months.

Bought last September and planted out in the spring in a container. It's really healthy , puts lots of growth on and now has the most amazing dark lilac flowers.

Had admired this plant after seeing it in a friends garden. Lovely soft pink creamy blooms. Planted in a large pot until I decide on its final home.
