All geums are invaluable for filling the May and early June colour gap in our gardens after the bulbs have finished and most perennials and roses have yet to get going.
This is my favourite colour form, which I used throughout our Chelsea Cutting Garden last May.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting | Plant in moist but well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot. Sprinkle mycorrhizal fungi (Rootgrow) into the base of the planting hole and water well after planting. For best effect plant in groups of 3 or more. |
Care Tips | Pull away flowering stems once finished to encouraged repeat blooming. Divide in spring or autumn. |
