These green-flashed tulips come back year after year, flower for ages, have excellent weather resistance (crucial if there is endless rain) and last brilliantly in the vase. I've now had all three reappearing at Perch Hill for over ten years and for tulips that's pretty remarkable, and they do fine in the sun or shade.

The Super Perennial Tulip collection flowers from April to early May. All our tulip collections come with each variety in a separate bag, so you can decide exactly where to plant each colour.

This collection contains 15 or 30 bulbs each of:

This can be gift wrapped in our exclusive hessian sack, with ribbon and a Sarah Raven gift card. You will be able to add this to your basket once you begin the checkout process. To add a gift message to your order, simply fill out the details at the delivery stage of the checkout.

Please note: only items which are showing ‘in stock’ can be gift wrapped.

Our tulip bulbs are the best and biggest we can find, from tried and trusted growers. Don't forget that tulips like to be planted late in October and November with the colder weather, and need a little watering if planted in pots.

For containers, space bulbs 1-2cm (½-1in) apart if planting in a single layer, give them more room, 2-3cm (1-1½in) if planting in a bulb lasagne.
Sowing, Seeds, Planting Plant outdoors October - December.
Care Tips Don’t plant tulips until mid-late October. Plant pointy end up 10-15cm deep, 8cm apart in borders (less in containers). You can use a mycorrhizal Bulb Starter. After flowering leave the foliage to die back naturally if you want to reuse the bulbs.
Flowering April - May
Vase Life Tulips make supreme cut flowers. Strip the bottom leaves, tie the stems in paper to hold the stems ram-rod straight and leave to drink for at least 3 hours – or overnight. This helps keep the stems straight, but tulips do continue to grow after picking so curves may appear.

Two orders put through recently. In one a full collection of tulips was missing - £46.50 worth. I've been a customer for years now I am still waiting since first raising this last week for send sort of alternative. I've found it on their site but they seem reluctant to offer this as a replacement for not sending the items paid for and now out of stock. Customer services were less than helpful. Have been promised a call back from 'someone in senior management'. Still waiting.

Fast efficient service and a fantastic choice of products, obviously not seen the results of the planting yet, but if I’m happy with the results, I’d certainly buy from Sarah Raven again

Again, underwhelmed. In spite of taking great care with the planting I did not get the results I had hoped for.

Came up much earlier than expected (ordered due to the late May flowering but were over by the time we opened our garden in late May). This may have been because of warm spring though! They also came up at different times so there wasn’t that nice effect of their colours complimenting each other. They did look lovely though.

As a collection, the tulips were planted together. Some finished flowering before others opened and some didn't flower at all.

I was pleased with the service but not the products. I imagined that a collection would all bloom at the same time and be of similar heights. I found this was not the case and was very disappointed with the result.

Beautiful tulips- chosen for a semi-shady spot. Not ideal for tulips. But recommended in the catalogue and they were great. Now just waiting for next year to see how they do!

Lovely collection of tulips. Grew well and lasted brilliantly as cut flowers.

I’ve absolutely LOVED these tulips.
They started coming out just as I went away for almost three weeks and were still out when we got home - even stayed another week or so. I was delighted.
The colours were beautiful and they all stayed upright - no flopping.
I shall be getting another batch for next spring.

These bulbs were very disappointing. They grew at different rates despite being planted together so some were over before the others were out. Most of the flowers were deformed when blooming.

These are very simple but beautiful, classic looking tulips. They have excellent, strong, upright stems and are a gorgeous cut flower. The pink and white are longer than the orange, but all are great. Hopefully they will continue to flower year after year.

'Artist' very disappointing!

Reviewed 5th May 2017 by Jillian White

In the perennial tulip collection 'Groenland' and 'Spring Green' have performed very well. However out of ten bulbs of 'Artist' only one has a proper flower. The others have failed to develop properly and are very small plants despite being grown in close proximity to the other bulbs in the border.

Great performer

This was probably the best performer out of all my collections this year. I noticed the description says they are 35-40 cm high but I would say mine grew taller than that. They looked really strong and pretty and it was quite nice that they flowered a bit late than all my other tulips collections so I still had some flowers to pick. Lasted very well in the vase too.
