Gladiolus 'Green Star' is an acid-green gladioli, which doesn't fade to yellow, superb for growing and arranging with dahlias. It was the best in our green-flowered trial.

These are best planted outside from mid-April or in pots from early March, if kept frost free.

Vase Life Remove the bottom leaves, I prefer to leave the spike tip as this is part of the plants appeal but removing it will encourage more flowers below.

Stunning gladioli

I planted Green Star in with a bed of white cosmos and white roses and it is a stunning gladioli. All the gladioli (I bought Velvet Collection) have produced wonderful coloured flowerheads, very true to the printed colour on the website.
