Camassia leichtlinii subsp. leichtlinii is a statuesque late-spring flowering bulb with spires of creamy-white flowers which last for ages.

One of the most tolerant and long-lived bulbs you can grow. They're ideal for being happy in sun or light shade, for naturalising.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Preferably plant in moist but well-drained fertile, humus-rich soil in sun or part shade, providing a winter mulch. Plant bulbs 10cm deep in autumn
Care Tips Bulbs will form clumps and gradually spread so plant somewhere it can natuarlise happily. Mulch well in autumn, as this will need good frost protection.

The bulbs arrived in good time, and the camassias and White Triumphator have flowered well. One of the Mount Everst alliums is a purple one, not white as it should be, and the World Friendship tulips were all blind
