A quick and easy cut-and-come-again salad leaf which tastes of wasabi. It crops up for at least six months from one sowing.

If it starts to bolt, cut it right back and it rapidly leafs up again. This is one of our new found favourites.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Direct sow every 6-8 weeks March-early September, avoiding the warmest months (when flea beetle is most prevalent) or direct sow in modules or gutters under cover from February. Thin to 10-15cm (4-6in) for cut-and-come-again, 30cm (12in) if you want large leaves.
Care Tips Keep moist. Protect from flea beetle with a physical barrier of fleece.

We loved this lettuce. It completemented meat really well and spiced up salads.

Good strong plug plants.
