Parsley 'Gigante di Napoli' came out top of our trials, with larger leaves and a better flavour than others.

It is superb raw in salad, scattered over tomatoes or in Tabouleh with couscous. Very hardy and perfectly happy outside all the way through the winter in my Sussex garden.

Sowing, Seeds, Planting Wash seed in warm water and dry it overnight before sowing. Sow it March-April and/or August-September under cover or direct into the garden.
Care Tips This is an ideal herb for containers, and is great on a kitchen windowsill.
Storing This variety of parsley is good for drying. Or store in a glass of water for up to a week.
Harvesting 10-12 weeks from sowing. The leaves will produce for 6 months, if picked regularly. Will crop all year with regular sowing.
Cooking Notes Use in a traditional bouquet garni, and add fresh to salads or use in stews, casseroles and pies.

Fast growing and easy to care for

This grows very fast, after only a month and a half, mine is already 30cm high and rather bushy, I will start picking and drying leaves soon. All the plugs did well. On the down side, the aphids and caterpillars seem to love it.
